Working with Andrée has been like having my own personal fairy godmother for my balcony. She took a big, promising but barren space and transformed it into a magical urban oasis that makes me forget I’m living on a main street with a strip mall across the road! Each spring we put our heads together to decide what new and delicious combinations of plants will grace my pots, and each summer I luxuriate in the lushness of the results. Andrée is just the right mix of responsive and proactive, ensuring I get what I want (fragrance and striking colour combos) while suggesting ideas I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. The joy and delight I have experienced working with Andrée is quite amazing! She has removed all the anxiety I was feeling over my own difficulty handling my townhouse’s two garden areas. She produced photos of suggested plants, so that I could make an educated choice. Andrée is a true artist and gifted gardener. She created planters outside of The Secret Garden Tea Company that capture the true beauty and essence of our shop. She creates new arrangements to complement The Secret Garden seasonally and shows up to check and ensure everything is as it should be, even in the pouring rain!
